Whisper is an ASR system that has been trained on 680,000 hours of supervised data collected from the web.
This makes it possible to approach human level robustness and accuracy in English speech recognition. It is also robust to accents, background noise, and technical language. In addition, Whisper enables transcription in multiple languages, as well as translation from those languages into English.
The hackathon will start on October 14th and end on October 16th.
